2026.03.20-21 第五屆東亞臨床哲學會議：人的概念與人的當代處境

由日本大阪大學鷲田清一（Washida Kiyoukazu）教授所提出的「臨床哲學」（clinical philosophy）理念，把受苦的現場界定為哲學實踐的場域。如果生命本身即是受苦的現場。不可諱言，動蕩不安的全球政治局勢、頻傳的天災人禍、快速發展的各項科學技術，無不深刻地影響著人看待自身、他人和世界的方式。本會議旨在反思現代人的受苦現場，檢視哲學或人文科學回應「人是什麼」這個問題的可能性。
The concept of clinical philosophy, introduced by Professor Washida Kiyokazu (鷲田清一) of Osaka University, identifies sites of suffering as legitimate arenas for philosophical practice. If life itself is such a site, then it is undeniable that the volatile global political climate, the frequent occurrence of natural and human-made disasters, and the rapid advancement of science and technology have profoundly influenced the way we understand ourselves, others, and the world. This conference aims to reflect on the contemporary realities of human suffering and to critically examine how philosophy and the humanities might respond to the enduring question: What does it mean to be human?
